Aynsley was founded by John Aynsley in 1775 in Staffordshire, opening the successful Flint Street Pottery in 1776.

The quality and success of Anysley porcelain earned the company many accolades including the erection of Aynsley Memorial in Longton and Royal endorsements from Queen Victoria, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana.

Today Aynsley is owned by the Belleek Pottery Group; an Irish company comprising of several high-quality porcelain and glassware producers, including Donegal Parian China and Galway Crystal, dedicated to continuing a long tradition of fine craftsmanship and innovative design.

Aynsley China is characterized by its quality porcelain and classical, floral designs with a range of tableware and crockery to suit every taste. Brays China is pleased to stock items from ever-popular Orchard Gold and Elizabeth Rose collections of tableware and crockery by Aynsley.

Orchard Gold tableware and crockery is characterised by a use of soft autumnal colours and an iconic collection of autumn fruits of apples, pears, grapes, peaches and blackberries. The Elizabeth Rose range features soft feminine designs of pink and white roses set against pure white bone china.
